Andre Bienvenu has proven throughout his professional career to be one of the premier chefs of today. After graduating from Johnson & Wales University with a Culinary Arts and Occupational Science Degree, he worked in multiple hotels and restaurants before spending 10 years with Hyatt Hotels where he worked in numerous properties. He currently is the Executive Chef of Joe's Stone Crab, a 103 year old restaurant located in Miami Beach, Fl. He has been there for 17 years and looks forward to many more. He manages a staff of 140 employees and creates a daily environment that allows only the best to come out of his kitchen. His kitchen philosophy is that learning should never stop. Bienvenu's career is filled with many accomplishments. They include awards from ACF, Food Shows, NICA, Local Food Challenges, Food Network appearances, local TV appearances, and a James Beard award nomination. In addition, Joe's was awarded the Top Zagat winner.
