Bio: Chef Ludo Lefebvre is one of the most influential chefs in the US. He arrived in Los Angeles 20 years ago with 10 years of experience working under some of the finest three-starred Michelin restaurants in France, under the mentorship of Alain Passard, Pierre Gagnaire, Marc Meneau and Guy Martin. He successfully took the helm of the fine-dining restaurants L’Orangerie and Bastide where he introduced molecular gastronomy in L.A. After this, he pioneered the concept of the pop-up restaurant with his “LudoBites” concept, a multi-city restaurant tour that challenged what a dining experience can be. It was hugely successfully and actually caused Opentable to crash, twice. He went on to create LudoBird, a fried chicken food truck that became a permanent Staples center restaurant, which will be opening its second location in early 2016 at Universal City Walk. In 2013, Ludo Lefebvre created the casual fine-dining restaurant Trois Mec, which garnered instant critical acclaim. In 2014 he opened the James-Beard nominated Petit Trois, a tiny French brasserie, which conceptualized his "bar à la carte" envision. Most recently in October 2015, Ludo opened his first “brunch only” concept, Trois Familia, in Silverlake, CA. Chef Ludo Lefebvre was also part of the hit ABC cooking competition, The Taste, along with Nigella Lawson, Marcus Samuelsson and Anthony Bourdain.
